Responsibilities:
- To provide service delivery to the
required service levels
- To plan the processes in the team, under
supervision of the team lead
- To guide the engineers as well as carry
out installations, upgrades, patch management and changes as required
- To provide proactive support, through
effective capacity planning and change management
- To provide reactive support for customers
of the service, and to introduce measures to reduce reactive work
- To handle escalations from customers/other
teams, about technical issues
- To be able to response to work relative
issue after office hours when necessary
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in computer science or
related discipline
- Approximately 4+ years of hands-on
experience in SAP Basis administration
- Strong technical skills in R/3, ECC, SCM,
XI and EP
- Good presentation skills, customer
handling skills
- Possess good communication & documentation
skills
- Must have good verbal and written English
communication skills
- Those with the following certificates will
be of advantage:
- SAP Basis certified
- SAP Basis experience on HPUX and
Windows2000 platform
- SAP Basis experience using Oracle, DB2
and MSSQL databases
- SAP BW, Solman, GTS experience
- SAP Basis OS/DB migration certified
